"Monsha'at" Graduates 20 University Startups from the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University Accelerator
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" celebrated the graduation of 20 university startups from the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University accelerator. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amari, the Governor of "Monsha'at" Sami Al-Husseini, and the CEO of the Human Capacity Development Program Eng. Anas Al-Mudaifer, as well as a number of experts and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship. The University Startup Accelerator program aims to support entrepreneurial projects of university affiliates, students, and recent graduates, develop their capabilities, enhance their growth in the market, and improve their investment attractiveness. It also aims to improve their organizational structure and competitiveness, enabling them to become successful startups that attract investment opportunities and are capable of growth and expansion. The startups presented their projects in the presence and participation of a group of angel investors, financing entities, and service providers for the participating projects. The majority of the projects were in the technology sector, followed by e-commerce, entertainment, tourism, manufacturing, financial technology, and advanced technology. The participants benefited during their journey from a set of specialized programs and services for new startups, with the aim of supporting and developing them to become successful companies over a period of six months for each accelerator. These benefits included financial grants, workshops, advisory sessions, various financing solutions, networking opportunities with investors and financing entities, and enriching meetings with successful entrepreneurs.
