The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” is sponsoring the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, to be held from March 10th for three days, as part of the Biban 23 forum organized by the Authority from March 9th to 13th at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the slogan "Opportunities Create Entrepreneurship." A total of 100 startups worldwide are competing for a chance to win prizes worth up to one million dollars, in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
The Entrepreneurship World Cup competition is the largest event for global entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to attract entrepreneurial projects that serve the Kingdom's objectives, stimulate local investment, attract foreign investments, highlight promising opportunities, engage global startups in solving national challenges, and empower partners and supporting entities to achieve their goals.
The Entrepreneurship World Cup finalists were selected worldwide following their success in their national competitions. The top 250 companies then participated in a global training camp, of which the best 100 emerging startups were selected to compete in the Biban 23 finals.
The competition has attracted 400,000 registrants from businesses and entrepreneurs representing 200 countries and organizations.
The Entrepreneurship World Cup competition provides an opportunity for businesses from around the world to participate and compete for the title. Additionally, it helps and supports entrepreneurs as they progress from the idea to the growth stage. The competition provides a special chance for training, networking with other entrepreneurs, and gaining access to industry-supportive platforms. The Entrepreneurship World Cup competition will be held at the Biban 23 forum in partnership with Misk Foundation, the Global Entrepreneurship Network, an organization operating in 200 countries, with the goal of supporting and facilitating the initiation and expansion of entrepreneurship.
Biban 23 forum is one of the most important tools for the rapid development witnessed in the small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurship sectors in the Kingdom.
