"Monsha’at" Concludes the E-Commerce Week with the Participation of 40 Government and Private Entities

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" concluded the activities of E-Commerce Week, in partnership with government and private entities, hosted at the SMEs Support Centers in the cities of Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah and Al-Khobar. The week's activities included workshops, entrepreneurial meetings, consultations and guidance with specialists and experts in various fields. The week aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs and introduce them to e-commerce, its importance for entrepreneurs, and its impact on small and medium enterprises, in addition to providing a platform for communication and exchange of experiences between entrepreneurs, experts and the relevant government entities. During E-Commerce Week, more than 50 meetings and workshops were held, in addition to the participation of more than 40 government and private entities, and the number of registered participants in the week's activities exceeded 2,400 beneficiaries from entrepreneurs and SME owners. In his speech during the Business Support Council, the CEO of the General Authority of Media Regulation, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Abdullatif, emphasized that the Authority focuses on supporting SMEs in the media sector to achieve their goals and aspirations, in addition to the Authority's efforts to create a sustainable media industry that enhances the soft power of the Kingdom globally. On his part, the Vice Chairman of the E-Commerce Committee at the Riyadh Chamber, Mohammed Al-Amer, pointed out that the E-Commerce Committee works as a link between the merchant and the relevant entities, in addition to providing consultations, introductory meetings and training courses. Through the organization of specialized weeks, 'Monsha’at' remains committed to its supportive role in opening new horizons for SMEs, through cooperation with all partners to provide opportunities for entrepreneurs, which would contribute to achieving the growth objectives of SMEs, ensuring their sustainability and growth.
