The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at" organizes Tourism Week events from August 25 to August 29, with the participation of more than 30 governmental, private and financial entities, as part of a series of business weeks at the SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Al-Khobar. The week, held in partnership with the Tourism Development Fund, aims to raise entrepreneurs' awareness of investment opportunities in the tourism sector and introduce them to the services and programs provided by supporting governmental, private and financial entities for small and medium enterprises in the sector. The week will witness a number of dialogue sessions, including hosting the CEO of the Hail Region Development Authority, Omar Al-Abduljabbar, the CEO of the Investment Sector at the Asir Region Development Authority, Sultan Al-Shehri, the Business Sector Head at the Tourism Development Fund, Nayef Al-Madi, the Deputy Secretary-General for Privatization Affairs at the Eastern Region Municipality, Mahmoud Al-Ibrahim, and the CEO of Dan, one of the companies of the Public Investment Fund, Abdulrahman Aba Al-Khail. The week's events include 32 meetings and dialogue sessions to discuss the available opportunities, as well as display tables for the governmental, private and financial entities in the tourism sector to present their services and initiatives, in addition to advisory and guidance sessions provided for entrepreneurs. Through these specialized weeks, “Monsha’at” seeks to maintain its role in supporting and opening opportunities for small and medium enterprises.
