"Monsha'at" Organizes the Second Round of the Franchising Tour in Abha with the Participation of 15 Brands

Tomorrow, the second round of the Franchising Tour, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at," will launch at the headquarters of King Khalid University in Abha. This two-day event aims to raise awareness about services and programs in the field of franchising, in order to enhance the growth and expansion of the sector and contribute to achieving the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. The tour, which started in Al-Khobar Governorate as its first stop, will cross 14 stations across the Kingdom, in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce, the National Transformation Program, the Social Development Bank, the Saudi Business Center, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, and the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank. More than 15 brands will participate to showcase their investment opportunities to the beneficiaries. The tour will include a dialogue session with the CEO of the Products and Services Sector and Customer Experience at the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank, Badr Al-Redhan, the Head of the Business Sector at the Tourism Development Fund, Nayef Al-Madi, and the Head of the Investment Sector at the Asir Region Development Authority, Engineer Sultan Al-Shahri, to discuss investment opportunities in the Asir region and the financing solutions provided to support the expansion and investment of brands. Monsha’at will also offer eight specialized workshops, with the contribution of several enabling entities, such as the Saudi Business Center and the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank, in addition to success stories and advisory and guidance sessions to introduce franchising, aiming to stimulate expansion and investment through the franchising business model. On the first day, workshops will address the legal aspects of franchising, in addition to a workshop on the approved mediation in franchising, a workshop on intellectual property in everyday life, and a workshop on how to market your brand, as well as building operational guides for the brand. The second day will cover topics such as acquiring franchise rights and evaluating investment opportunities, the expansion strategy through the franchising system, the products offered by the Kafalah program, the journey to obtaining a commercial franchise, and the role of supply chains in franchising. Six enabling entities from the government and private sectors will participate in the tour, providing services to entrepreneurs and participants, in addition to the presence of consultants in brand development and expansion through franchising, brand identity building, and franchise operations and planning.
