The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, "Monsha’at," represented by the Franchise Center, concluded the franchise tour in Jeddah in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce, the National Transformation Program, the Social Development Bank, the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank, and the Saudi Business Center, with the participation of 30 brands. The tour aimed to increase awareness and understanding of franchising and its various aspects, including legal, operational, and marketing dimensions. It sought to stimulate expansion and investment through the franchising business model while showcasing success stories. Additionally, it aimed to provide a comprehensive investment environment through collaboration with enabling and consulting entities, brand owners, and potential franchisees. The total participation in the previous stops of the tour reached over 115 brands, and 42 workshops were held to empower entrepreneurs and SME owners to learn about the key fundamentals of franchising. During the Jeddah tour, a discussion session was held to explore expansion opportunities and the growth of franchising in the region and its economic dynamics. The tour also included 12 specialized workshops and a series of consulting and advisory sessions. Moreover, the tour witnessed the signing of several franchise agreements to support the growth and expansion of participating entrepreneurs and brand owners. "Monsha’at" will continue the franchise tour in the Jazan region, which is the fifth stop out of 14 across the Kingdom, scheduled for January 13-14 of the upcoming year.
