“Monsha'at” Concludes the Second Phase of Workshops on Shared Healthy Workspaces

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, "Monsha'at," has concluded the second phase of the introductory workshops program on the concept of "Shared Healthy Workspaces." This environment provides Saudi health practitioners with access to fully equipped environments where they can rent clinics, enabling them to offer a range of health services. The workshops were conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Council of Universities Affairs, to enhance awareness among Saudi dental students in universities and colleges about an innovative entrepreneurial model for healthcare practice. This model provides a flexible and secure environment with low startup costs, contributing to higher-quality health services and expanding entrepreneurial opportunities in the sector. Launched in January 2025, the second phase targeted Saudi dental students approaching graduation and recent graduates. A total of seven workshops were held across various public universities and private colleges, benefiting more than 700 participants from different cities and governorates, including Riyadh, Dammam, Al-Ahsa, Taif, and Hail. The workshops focused on introducing the "Shared Healthy Workspaces" concept, highlighting entrepreneurial opportunities in the healthcare sector, and fostering innovation in health entrepreneurship. These efforts contribute to facilitating business startups and strengthening the private sector’s role in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The program concluded with key recommendations aimed at supporting the health sector in general and dental entrepreneurship in particular. These insights will be leveraged to develop a more supportive ecosystem for health practitioners and entrepreneurs. As part of its ongoing efforts to empower young health professionals and strengthen investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, Monsha’at plans to launch the third phase of the program in Q2 of 2025, expanding to additional cities and governorates, including Abha, Al-Bahah, and Al-Jouf.
