His Highness the Prince of Riyadh Will Inaugurate the Enhanced Edition of the Biban Forum Next Wednesday

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of Riyadh, will inaugurate the advanced edition of the Biban Forum next Wednesday at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center. The event is organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at,” and will be attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prince of Riyadh.
The Governor of Monsha’at, Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, applauded the Riyadh region's infrastructure for hosting the forum. He praised the young people's aspirations and the efforts of the Prince of Riyadh and his deputy in giving them all the support and encouragement they needed for their business ventures. Additionally, he restated Monsha'at's pledge to assist entrepreneurs across the Kingdom and provide them with a plethora of investment options. The advanced edition of the Biban Forum, which will run for four days starting from January 29, 2020, will include two entirely fresh sections. The Innovation department seeks to enable more innovative projects and the adoption of creative solutions by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the country's economy. The goal of the Real Estate and Construction department is to give SMEs access to investment opportunities in contracting, real estate auctions, property management, and real estate marketing. Additionally, a conference titled "Building the New Economic Entrepreneurship in the Kingdom" will be held on January 30, 2020, where global and local experts and regional decision-makers will discuss various topics related to SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Engineer Al-Rasheed mentioned that the forum has attracted 180 government and private entities to provide their services and initiatives aimed at facilitating business practices, accessing financing, and promoting the culture of entrepreneurship. Over 300 training programs and workshops will be offered by 150 trainers to support and empower aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them transform their ideas into projects and providing them with the tools to build successful business ventures. The aim is to enhance the performance of SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Since its inception in 2017, the Biban Forum series has witnessed over 326,000 visitors who have benefited from up to 5,773 advisory sessions and over 1,442 workshops focused on supporting and empowering aspiring entrepreneurs. Over 589 sponsors and service providers have participated in the Biban Forum events.
