Monsha'at Organizes Heritage and Handicrafts Week with Participation from 35 Entities Next Week

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, "Monsha'at," is organizing the "Heritage and Handicrafts Week" in partnership with the Heritage Commission and the Professional Crafts Association, with participation from 35 entities from both the public and private sectors, from April 13 to 17. This event will take place at the SMEs Support centers in Riyadh, Madinah, and the governorates of Jeddah and Al-Khobar. The Heritage and Handicrafts Week aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the heritage and handicrafts sector. It will introduce them to the services and programs provided by government, private, and financial entities that support small and medium enterprises in the sector. Key participants include the Heritage Commission, the Cultural Fund, the Professional Crafts Association, the Social Development Bank, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, among others. The week will host several officials from the Heritage Commission, the Cultural Fund, and the Professional Crafts Association through support councils and panel discussions, along with various guests and specialists. They will discuss the contributions of small and medium enterprises to the heritage and handicrafts sector and showcase investment opportunities available to entrepreneurs in this field. Additionally, the week will include a range of consultations, guidance sessions, workshops, and a special market for artisans to enhance the entry of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs into the heritage and handicrafts sector, addressing challenges they encounter. The Heritage and Handicrafts Week offers visitors and interested individuals opportunities to learn about successful entrepreneurial experiences through specialized meetings with entrepreneurs, focusing on opportunities provided in entrepreneurship and discussing challenges and effective solutions. This aims to highlight the significant opportunities available in the small and medium enterprises sector within heritage and handicrafts sector.
