Monsha'at" concludes the "Zero to Hero" e-sports camp by crowning three winners

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha'at” concluded its "Zero to Hero" e-gaming camp, crowning three winners for their outstanding entrepreneurial ideas in the e-gaming sector. The event took place at the Enterprise Support Center in Riyadh, in the presence of the Authority's Deputy Governor for Entrepreneurship, Saud bin Khalid Al-Subhan, and a number of experts and specialists in the field.

 The ceremony witnessed the honoring of three teams participating in the program, namely: Hanaka, Nomad, and AlUla were honored in recognition of their excellence in game design and development, and their creative innovations in this sector. The ceremony witnessed wide participation from participants who presented their projects and innovations to a select group of specialists and investors.

 The camp is a training program that extended over a period of (12) weeks, aiming to enable participants to develop their skills in designing and developing electronic games, in addition to reviewing the most prominent modern trends, challenges, and opportunities in the sector.

 The number of participants registered in the program reached (148), of whom (10) promising projects qualified, benefiting from (47) specialized workshops that contributed to developing their technical and creative skills.
 The camp comprised four main phases. The first phase focused on providing an overview of the program, its objectives, and requirements. The second phase included intensive training courses in game development. The third phase focused on working on prototypes. The fourth and final phase was devoted to preparing the projects for the final rounds, in the presence of a jury comprising a select group of experts and investors in the field.

 This camp is part of Monsha’at's ongoing efforts to support the video game industry in the Kingdom by developing distinguished national talent, fostering an environment of innovation, and enabling entrepreneurs to develop projects capable of competing regionally and globally.
