The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” hosted today His Excellency the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “SDAIA”, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration among government enablers supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and AI technologies, aligned with Saudi Arabia's celebration of the year of artificial intelligence 2026.

During the visit, Monsha’at's Governor Sami bin Ibrahim Al Hussaini highlighted key initiatives and programs aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing SMEs’ readiness to adopt advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence. These efforts are designed to boost competitiveness and support the development of innovative business models, contributing to a knowledge-based digital economy.

H.E. Dr. Alghamdi was also briefed on the services and development programs offered by the SME Support Center, as well as the Startup Hub and Innovation Center, which provide advanced workspaces, integrated services, and incubation for companies specializing in AI solutions and technologies.

He emphasized that stronger integration among entities, enabling innovation, data, and AI, is fundamental to accelerating adoption across both public and private sectors, helping drive innovation and unlock new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

He also added that SDAIA continues to empower entities in data and AI while strengthening national integration in the sector, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a diversified, innovation-driven economy and position the Kingdom among global leaders in advanced technologies.
