The Governmental Cost Calculator helps entrepreneurs, who are about to start a business, to know exactly the most important governmental fees during the foundation and operation phases.

It consists of a government fees calculator and a break-even point calculator.

This service will help calculate the initial foundation fees in the following government entities: the Ministry of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce, Saudi Post, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the General Organization for Social Insurance, the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, & Housing) besides any fees for private platforms.

It also helps the entrepreneur to calculate other specific fees for licensing activities.

The calculator works in two ways:

One product: Fixed costs ÷ (product price - variable costs) = the number of products that are expected to be sold to reach the break-even point.

More than one product: the products are calculated arithmetically to clarify the break-even point for the entire project based on the estimates of sales numbers and product prices.

No, the service is totally free of charge.

It is the point at which total revenue equals total costs (fixed and variable. In other words, it is the point at which profit and loss equal zero. So, there is no profit or loss. By calculating it, you can define the minimum units that must be produced and sold to cover the costs of the enterprise.

Variable costs: are costs that vary with product type, production size, or sales; they rise and fall with these factors, for example: Raw materials and product packaging.

Fixed costs: are costs that do not change with the size of production and it must be paid whether or not the enterprise achieves sales, for example: employees salaries and building rent.

The analysis of break-even points depends on three main aspects for commercial and industrial processes, which are: Unit selling price, Variable costs, and Fixed costs.

The closer you get to the real number, the more accurate you are to determine the break-even point.

The calculator provides an estimate calculation for the break-even point, as the variable and fixed costs are hard to predict with 100% accuracy before establishing the enterprise.
