Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and the Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs - may God protect him -The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” is organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in cooperation with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), during the period from 27 to 30 March 2022. The Global Entrepreneurship Network chose Riyadh as the host city for the conference, this decision was influenced by the Kingdom's top global rankings in two key indicators: "Availability of Good Opportunities to Start a Business" and "Ease of Starting a Business." Furthermore, Saudi Arabia claimed the first position in indicators related to "Entrepreneurs' Response to the Pandemic" and "Government Response to the Pandemic." These achievements, surpassing 45 countries in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, reinforces Riyadh's standing as a hub of intense entrepreneurial activity. The conference, which launches under the theme "We Reset - We Innovate  We Renew," will witness the participation of entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and decision-makers from 180 countries to discuss the economic challenges facing the global entrepreneurship environment, exchange experiences, seize investment opportunities in the upcoming phase, and learn lessons from the challenges the world faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurs and enthusiasts to understand the dimensions of the next stage, absorb the lessons presented by the global pandemic, learn about best practices in dealing with crises, and maintain the flexibility and continuity of commercial activities, in addition to exchanging creative ideas between entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world. The conference will host over 150 speakers divided into 100 discussion sessions, including Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak, Netflix Co-founder Mark Randolph, and many innovation and entrepreneurship specialists.
