The Food and Drug Authority publishes a list of registered and licensed products along with the distributing companies.

  • If the product is not registered, follow the steps below to list the product.

The Food and Drug Authority specifies a set of requirements for the storage area and warehouses that must be met by the business owner to ensure proper storage and preservation in a designated area suitable for the quantity and type of stored materials.

Product Registration Procedures

Contact the Manufacturer

  1. Obtain a marketing authorization letter for the Kingdom

  2. Ensure that the products comply with cosmetic product specifications

Create an Account in E-Cosma

  1. Complete the authorization form to create an account in E-Cosma and have it certified by the Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Attach the warehouse license (lease agreement).

  3. Create the account.

Register the Manufacturer in the System

  1. Marketing authorization letter for sales within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  2. Good manufacturing certificate from the country of origin.
  3. Manufacturer's license from the country of origin.
  4. Authorize the responsible person to communicate with the authority.
  5. Manufacturer's information.

Register Products in the System

  1. Clear images of the product from all angles.
  2. A copy of the ID or residency permit of the facility's responsible person at the Food and Drug Authority.

  3. Product information and its components.

Customs Clearance

Data must be submitted and uploaded as soon as the necessary documents are available. It should be provided at least 48 hours before the shipment arrives through the fasah platform
