Pharmacies
Pharmacies are shops that sell medicines, medical supplies, and similar products.
Preparing the premises
The executive regulations include the following aspects
Thermal and water insulation.
Ventilation and lighting.
Provision of appropriate safety measures to prevent fire.
Floors covered with sealed tiles such as vinyl, marble, or ceramic.
Availability of a refrigerator for medications that require cooling.
Humidity levels not exceeding 60% within the activity premises.
High-capacity air conditioning units to maintain the temperature within the pharmacy between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius
Provision of an electronic device to measure temperature and humidity.
Separation of the medical supplies, cosmetics, and health foods sections.
Separation of the prescription medication section from other areas.
Establishment of a closed and isolated area for damaged or expired medications, as well as a section dedicated to returned medications.
