Pharmacies
Pharmacies are shops that sell medicines, medical supplies, and similar products.
Services and Products
Pharmaceutical preparations may not be offered for sale at a price different from what is registered with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
The sale of pharmaceutical products that are not registered with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority is prohibited.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has established a list of pharmaceutical preparations that must be available in pharmacies.
Pharmaceutical Care Services
As an additional service, and after meeting the necessary requirements, the following pharmaceutical care services may be provided:
Vaccinations
Measurement of vital signs
Health awareness and education
Non-urgent medical care
Training on the use of medical devices
Medication management
Cosmetic Products
Cosmetic products are any substance or compound intended for application to the external parts of the human body. When setting the appropriate price for the product, the following points should be considered:
Identify your target customers by creating buyer personas.
Base pricing on competitors.
Set the most suitable price based on value through product preference analysis.
