Precious Metals and Gemstones Shops are shops that sell precious metals and gemstones at retail.
1 Establishment Stage
The general categories
Gold Jewelry
Any metal piece that contains at least eighteen karats of pure gold (750 parts per thousand).
Silver Jewelry
Any metal piece that contains at least eight hundred parts per thousand of pure silver.
Platinum Jewelry
Any metal piece that contains at least eight hundred and fifty parts per thousand of pure platinum.
Precious metals and gemstones are not limited to these classifications; these are just the primary ones. All classifications are mentioned in the Precious Metals and Gemstones System issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
