The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) participates in the Municipal Investment Forum (Furas) in its second edition, which is organized by the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing between 24 and 26 January in Riyadh to reinforce and spread entrepreneurship culture among society members.

Furas is an opportunity for Monsha'at to showcase its most prominent initiatives including: "Mazaya" platform, "Jadeer '' service, Franchise, and Retail Management. These initiatives were showcased through a pavilion known as Monsha'at programs, where visitors could discuss them and learn how to benefit from them. The pavilion also highlighted the opportunities entrepreneurs create for both local and foreign investors and emphasized the role of SMEs in the growth and diversification of the economy in line with Vision 2030.

Monsha'at provided 55 consulting sessions and workshops during the forum for visitors and those interested in entrepreneurship. The most notable sessions focused on franchise opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, e-commerce services, and business models. Approximately 500 individuals benefited from these sessions.

The Deputy Governor for Enterprise Services, Eng. Ryan Alfayez, participated in a panel discussion at the forum titled "The Importance of SMEs in the Development of Cities" in his capacity as a representative of Monsha'at. During the discussion, he highlighted Monsha'at's role in providing a mechanism for sharing investment opportunities with SMEs through the franchise center and its e-platform. These resources enable enterprises to access franchise opportunities by connecting them to franchising brands and connecting brands with investors.

It is worth noting that Monsha'at seeks to embrace a culture of freelance, entrepreneurship, and innovation through its participation in Furas, in order to reach and educate the target segments of society. This is in recognition of the crucial role that SMEs and entrepreneurship play in diversifying and developing the Kingdom's economy and enhancing its competitiveness.
