Conclusion of Activities of the Second Day of the Biban 23 forum

The Biban 23 forum, organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at”, concluded its second day with a series of sessions and workshops that discussed various topics in the entrepreneurship, investment, and small and medium enterprises sectors, as well as promising entrepreneurial opportunities in different sectors.
The "Launch Pad" workshop focused on helping people develop their project ideas by guiding them in the creation of models that offer a distinct picture of the project's goals. The workshops in the "Growth Gate" focused on factors and objectives that help investors in the entrepreneurship sector to grow their businesses. Notable workshops included "Supply Chain Management," It sought to improve entrepreneurs' comprehension of supply chain kinds, concepts, and principles as well as the essential functions that they perform.
The workshops in the "Franchise Gate" aimed to help investors interested in the franchise sector evaluate franchise opportunities, clarify the role of franchisors, and provide illustrative examples and models.
The workshops held in the "E-commerce Gate" shed light on raising awareness about e-commerce methods and practices, connecting visitors with service providers and supporting products, in addition to emphasizing on the important part played by E-commerce Council initiatives.
Through the "Innovation Gate," the session "Cyberthon Hackathon Launch" provided entrepreneurs with the chance to interact with experts and gain access to cybersecurity methods that increase innovation, support the growth of startups in the field, and help them refine their business plans. The second day of the forum featured several sessions, addressing topics such as enhancing global economic cooperation among entities and stakeholders in the SMEs sector, the necessity of a generation driven by ambition, the need for creative solutions to protect and promote cultural heritage, and the prospects of SMEs in industry (the Fourth Industrial Revolution), establishing billion-dollar companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the future of e-commerce.
Participants at the Biban 23 forum delivered speeches on exploring international startup opportunities in the Kingdom, the keys to entrepreneurial success, the Quality of Life program and private sector empowerment, negotiation in mergers and acquisitions, and empowering human potential: awakening dreamers and financing successful ventures.
During the forum, the e-commerce council launched an initiative to qualify national cadres in e-commerce through the FutureX National E-Learning Platform in collaboration with the National Center for E-Learning.
The initiative goals is to provide training programs and courses to qualify individuals interested in learning e-commerce skills, filling positions in relevant companies, and granting them professional certificates from leading global universities and institutions, delivered electronically in collaboration with the FutureX platform. In its first phase, the initiative targets 5,000 trainees from all regions of the Kingdom by providing specialized programs that suit the trainees' schedules from international universities and companies.
