Monsha’at Participates in the G20 Entrepreneurship Summit in India

Monsha’at participated in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Summit in India. The summit aimed to highlight the achievements and potential opportunities available to young entrepreneurs, who are dedicated to creating an attractive entrepreneurial environment. It brought together various government entities, private sector representatives, entrepreneurs, and investors from different fields.
During the summit, Afnan Ababtain, the Director of Women Entrepreneurship Management at Monsha’at, emphasized in a panel discussion titled "Equal Opportunities" that the number of business incubator licenses in the Kingdom has exceeded 400. In addition, she highlighted that the majority of beneficiaries from the "University Startups Initiative" were women, accounting for more than 60%. This initiative played a significant role in promoting women's entrepreneurship across various sectors.
Furthermore, Maram Al-Jishi, the Director of E-commerce Management at Monsha’at, participated in a panel discussion titled "Digital Economy" to discuss the state of e-commerce in the Kingdom and its active role in achieving positive indicators in the digital economy. She affirmed that Saudi Arabia is among the top ten fastest-growing countries in the e-commerce field, with an annual growth rate exceeding 32%. This is evident through a 17% increase in e-commerce registrations during the first quarter of 2023.
The G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Summit serves as an opportunity to connect all participating G20 countries by providing recommendations to the group's leaders. The goal is to develop a global entrepreneurial environment, create investment opportunities for Saudi investors, strengthen international partnerships, and promote the growth of Saudi startups.
