The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha’at," in partnership with the E-Commerce Council, is set to launch the "E-commerce Tour" in the upcoming month of September. This tour aims to promote an entrepreneurial culture and support SME owners, helping them become acquainted with the key services and opportunities provided by the authority during the tour's events.
The tour will include visits to 14 cities and provinces across various regions of the Kingdom, where a group of experts and specialists in the field of e-commerce will participate.
This provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs to familiarize themselves with the latest global trends in electronic business development.
Commencing in Jeddah and culminating in Al-Baha over a four-month period, the tour will involve a series of sessions and dialogues conducted in partnership with the E-Commerce Council. These sessions will include representatives, officials from government and private entities, as well as consultants and experts in the field.
The tour aims to provide over 100 workshops and approximately 1,200 guidance and advisory sessions for participants. It also offers an opportunity for around 170 entities to showcase their products, services, and expertise during the events. The tour is expected to attract more than 28,000 visitors.
Through this tour, Monsha’at seeks to introduce e-commerce, empower its beneficiaries, equip them with the necessary skills for market competition, clarify important policies and procedures within this sector, expand knowledge among those interested in the sector, and address their questions and inquiries.
The tour offers a range of services and exclusive offers to entrepreneurs across all targeted regions, to support them in enhancing their entrepreneurial projects and motivate them to grow by benefiting from the opportunities and possibilities provided in the field of e-commerce.
Furthermore, the tour will witness a series of agreements and partnerships with participating government and private entities, with the objective of bolstering cooperation in developing the e-commerce sector, supporting entrepreneurs, and creating an enabling environment that streamlines all e-commerce-related procedures.
Monsha’at is committed to enhancing the capabilities of entrepreneurs and business owners in the field of e-commerce through specialized initiatives and programs. This commitment is driven by its pivotal role in bolstering the SMEs sector, particularly as the Kingdom ranks among the top 10 countries with a 32% growth rate in e-commerce during the first quarter of 2023.
