His Excellency Professor Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadai, CEO of the Food and Drug Authority, emphasized the Kingdom's significant global economic importance and its exceptional potential and opportunities for investors. This is especially true in light of Vision 2030 and the economic reforms that have attracted investments and supported entrepreneurs. He made these remarks during his participation in the SME's Support Center meeting organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) as part of the Health Week events.
Al-Jadai underscored that the Authority is working collaboratively with relevant entities to support innovators and investors, while also encouraging entrepreneurs to initiate their business activities within the healthcare sector. He highlighted the pressing need for entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, which has generated increased demand for medical devices and, consequently, presents opportunities for investors to expand their businesses. He stated, "The Authority is continuously engaged in developing and revising work methods, procedures, and communication channels with customers to support and empower SMEs."
Al-Jadai added, "I urge all investors and prospective investors to thoroughly study regulatory aspects and requirements. Additionally, I invite entrepreneurs to visit the Authority or engage through its various communication channels to acquire the necessary information."
