"Monsha'at" Signs Tripartite Agreement to Support the Agricultural Sector with Financial Solutions Provided by the Social Development Bank
The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Social Development Bank and Riyadh Development Company to support entrepreneurs in entering the public utilities markets in the field of agricultural marketing. This will be achieved through a comprehensive array of supportive programs, including financial solutions provided by the Social Development Bank, workshops, and training courses to develop their entrepreneurial projects.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Sulaiman Al-Tarif, Deputy Governor of Monsha'at for Planning and Development, who represented the authority. The Social Development Bank was represented by His Excellency Engineer Sultan Al-Humaidi, Deputy CEO of the Business Sector, and Walid Al-Kharji, CEO of Public Utilities Markets at Riyadh Development Company. The agreement aims to support SMEs in expanding their business activities in the wholesale and retail sector of agricultural crops. It facilitates entrepreneurs and freelancers interested in conducting their business within these markets, thus contributing to the promotion of the entrepreneurial environment and the cultivation of a culture of self-employment in various fields. This also helps in boosting the agricultural GDP and its effective impact on the overall GDP and economy.
