Monsha'at Concludes Health Week Activities
The General Authority of Small and Medium Enterprises, Monsha'at, successfully concluded the Health Week with the participation of 20 entities from both the public and private sectors. The event aimed to highlight promising opportunities in the healthcare sector. The activities took place at Monsha'at's Support Centers in Riyadh, Al-Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.
The Health Week featured numerous dialogue sessions, discussions, and workshops with esteemed individuals, senior officials, CEOs, and entrepreneurs. The week focused on the healthcare sector and its prominent investment opportunities. It included 35 in-person and virtual meetings with representatives from government and private entities. These sessions provided insights into investment opportunities and government initiatives that support SMEs operating in the healthcare field.
Distinguished guests at the Health Week included the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Professor Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey, who emphasized that the Kingdom is an attractive market for investors. He also highlighted the healthcare sector's potential for more investment opportunities and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Khaled Al-Sheibani, CEO of the Healthcare Sector Transformation Program, was a guest speaker at one of the Health Week meetings. He emphasized the unprecedented changes occurring in the healthcare field globally, citing the Kingdom's experience in facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Monsha'at organized this week as part of its efforts to improve the performance of healthcare establishments, enabling them to stay updated in this vital sector. The objective is to accurately identify the challenges they face, provide suitable solutions, and offer a range of benefits and facilitations tailored to the activities of these establishments. Additionally, the aim is to enhance productivity and competitiveness in the SMEs sector, facilitating their access to new markets.
