The Kingdom participates in the Global Entrepreneurship Conference in Australia

Under the auspices of the Gulf Cooperation Council General Secretariat, the kingdom is taking part in the Global Entrepreneurship Conference (GEC) in Melbourne, Australia, from September 19 to 22. Saud bin Khalid Al-Sabhan, Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha'at," will lead the group from the Kingdom, which includes representatives from several government organizations and Saudi entrepreneurs. With the aim  to strengthen the Kingdom's global position in supporting small and medium enterprises and protrude  the efforts of the Authority in supporting entrepreneurs, fostering the growth of small and medium enterprises, and providing opportunities for promising enterprises to connect with international experts and specialists to benefit from their expertise through a group of programs, initiatives, and local and global business accelerators organized by the Authority. The delegation includes several government entities, namely the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. And it  will discuss with international institutions the opportunities and possibilities for small and medium enterprises and explore ways to enhance cooperation for the development of the entrepreneurship field in the Kingdom. Visits to entrepreneurship centers, like the University of Melbourne's Entrepreneurship Center and Hatch Quarter, an incubator and accelerator that offers guidance and support to small and medium-sized businesses looking to grow and enter international markets in order to draw in investors, will be part of the participation

This aims to strengthen cooperation with startups, build relationships with relevant institutions, and enhance opportunities for collaboration. The "RasMal" Company, the first of its kind in the Middle East to support startups with tools in managing intellectual property rights, tracking ownership schedules, and measuring the impact of investment rounds on them, is among the many Saudi entrepreneurs who will also be showcasing their projects in the exhibition.      "WakeCap" is another member; it is a well-known technology and construction company looking to expand both locally and globally to increase investment prospects
