Monsha'at, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, concluded Law Week yesterday at SME's Support Center in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar. Law Week featured numerous panel discussions and workshops with the participation of 12 entities from the public and private sectors. The aim was to shed light on the local market preference list, local SMEs, and companies listed in the financial market in business and procurement. The sessions also addressed risk management in entrepreneurial projects, legal requirements for entrepreneurs, and highlighted initiatives, solutions, and investment opportunities that support SMEs.
Law Week activities included the showcasing of successful entrepreneurs' experiences and their journeys in overcoming key challenges through the organization of 30 in-person and virtual meetings, with the participation of representatives from government and private entities. These sessions aimed to introduce investment opportunities and government initiatives that benefits SMEs operating in the legal field.
Featured in one of the Law Week meetings was Abdulaziz bin Saud Al-Duhaim, the Deputy Minister for Policy and Regulations at the Ministry of Commerce. He emphasized that the Ministry had conducted over 30 workshops with various entities and government agencies to review the key provisions of the Companies Law, with the aime of empowering entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Nayef bin Saleh Al-Athel, the Chief of Listing at the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), also attended one of the Law Week meetings as a guest. He discussed the programs and initiatives that contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial environment in the legal field.
Law Week events provided visitors and interested individuals with the opportunity to learn about successful entrepreneurial experiences through specialized meetings with prominent entrepreneurs.
