The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) recently organized a comprehensive tour for representatives of entrepreneurship in Helsinki, Finland, featuring the participation of nine Saudi startups spanning various technology sectors. The itinerary encompassed attendance at the international exhibition Slush, an annual global event dedicated to entrepreneurship and technological innovation.

Monsha’at aimed to acquaint Saudi entrepreneurs with global leading technologies in entrepreneurship ecosystems and leverage this knowledge to improve their products and establish global relationships with innovators and suppliers. These efforts demonstrate Monsha’at's dedication to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.

The four-day tour involved the delegation visiting several universities and companies dedicated to promoting innovation and economic growth. Notable visits included specialized centers for entrepreneurs, startups, and technological innovation, such as Business Finland and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Aalto University in Finland. The objective was to exchange experiences and knowledge with experts in various fields.

The Slush event is worth highlighting as it serves as a valuable platform for entrepreneurs and investors from Northern Europe to communicate and interact. The event brings together a global community of founders, innovators, investors, and government officials, providing startups with numerous opportunities to expand their networks and secure funding for future projects. The event showcases a diverse array of technological innovations and emerging technologies in areas such as clean technology, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, healthcare, and education.
