"Monsha'at" Launches the Franchising Tour Next August in 14 Cities and Governorates Across the Kingdom
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” is launching the Franchising Tour next month, starting from the governorate of Al-Khobar during the period from August 12 to 13, with the participation of a number of supporting and enabling entities, to introduce the services and programs in the field of franchising, which contributes to achieving the targets of the Saudi Vision 2030. The tour, in its first phase, targets 5 cities and governorates during the current year, including: Al-Khobar Governorate, Abha city, and the regions of Al-Qassim and Hail, concluding with Jeddah Governorate. The tours will resume next year in a total of 7 cities and governorates, and the tour will conclude all its activities in two regions during 2026.The tour aims to increase awareness and understanding about franchising, including the legal, operational, and marketing aspects, in order to stimulate expansion and investment through the franchising business model. It will also showcase success stories in this field and provide an integrated investment environment through the participation of enabling and advisory entities, franchisors, and potential franchisees. The tour, in its first phase, will include a franchising exhibition, which will feature more than 80 franchisors with over 375 franchising opportunities, in addition to conducting educational and awareness programs through dialogue sessions, meetings, workshops, and advisory and guidance sessions to introduce franchising, and providing an effective communication network with the leading brands and stakeholders in the sector. A number of experts and specialists from the enabling and supporting entities will participate in the tour through dialogue sessions that address the programs and products offered by the enabling entities, which contribute to driving the franchising ecosystem, in addition to the services and procedures provided to facilitate franchising procedures in the Kingdom, and franchise financing products and programs provided by banks, and the role of Chambers of Commerce and other government entities in supporting the franchising ecosystem. The workshops will focus on various aspects of interest entrepreneurs in the field of franchising, including acquiring franchise rights, evaluating investment opportunities, introducing the Franchise Center at "Monshaat", learning about market strategies and mechanisms for international expansion in franchising, and developing operational guides for trademarks.
