"Monshaat" Concludes Entrepreneurship Clubs Activation Program at King Abdulaziz University
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at" honored 50 startups at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah Governorate, as part of the closing ceremony of Entrepreneurship Clubs Activation Program in universities, in the presence of the University Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Amoudi, the Deputy Governor of "Monsha'at" for Entrepreneurship Saud bin Khalid Al-Sabhan, and a number of university members, experts and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship Clubs Activation Program in universities aims to increase entrepreneurial awareness and develop the capabilities and skills of students by hosting the most prominent entrepreneurs interested in all fields and holding training workshops and specialized meetings, in addition to competitions and training camps. The participating teams in the closing ceremony showed their startups and solutions in various sectors such as technology, health, and tourism. The closing ceremony also highlighted the achievements of the program and its contribution to enhancing the entrepreneurial awareness of students. During their participation in the program, students with startups received a wide range of educational, guidance and development programs through specialists and experts in various fields of entrepreneurship, which contribute to raising their capabilities and transforming their ideas into successful projects. Through the program, Monsha'at seeks to motivate students to innovate and spread the culture of entrepreneurship, in order to promote the building of startups and contribute to their growth in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
