His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, confirmed that 90% of the companies operating in the sector are small and medium-sized enterprises. During a dialogue session at the "Industry and Mineral Pioneers Week," organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at," he stated: "Entrepreneurial projects today play a key and pivotal role in the sector through various contributions." He added, "industrial technical applications have proven their usefulness in solving many problems of large industries because technologies are dependent on the efficiency of innovators and entrepreneurs. In the mining sector, we find proven technologies that meet the needs of the sector in preserving mines, the environment, safety and productivity in a higher way. "Thanks to the unlimited support of the leadership, the industry is not limited to big players only, and the great integration of the system through the services provided from licensing to financing," he said. The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources pointed out that working in the industry system is not only to facilitate the entry of investors and entrepreneurs to the sector, but to ensure the continuation of these projects to help investors overcome the challenges and clarify the investor's journey in that. On the most prominent opportunities available in the industry sector, His Excellency explained that the mining sector today holds great opportunities for entrepreneurs in light of the great trend of investment in the sector, calling on all entrepreneurs to consider those opportunities available in the sector.   He drew attention to the fact that the Ministry has worked on more than 100 initiatives that entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises can benefit from in the industrial and mining sectors.
