120 Saudi and Gulf company showcased their experiences in the world of entrepreneurship to visitors at the "Biban Riyadh" Forum. The aim was to create a motivational environment for forum visitors, project owners, and creative thinkers for contributing to the spread of the entrepreneurial and innovation culture. The event also highlighted the achievements of Saudi and Gulf entrepreneurs and created an attractive environment for startups, investors, and business pioneers.
The start-up competed with each other to attract the largest number of visitors interested in learning about their experiences. A Saudi start-up presented its experience in the field of employment. It started just 8 months ago by gathering individuals aged 17 and above to develop their skills, and early entry into the job environment, and alleviate operational burdens on companies. The platform attracted over 15,000 subscribers, and more than 300 companies participated, offering job opportunities through the platform.
Visitors also have a look at the experience of a Kuwaiti startup operating in the industrial and logistics services sector. Their presence in the Saudi market was less than 6 months, having been established in Kuwait in 2017 with an initial capital of around two million Saudi riyals. Their sales increased by 120% in 2018 compared to 2017.
It is worth mentioning that the "Biban Riyadh" Forum, organized by the General Authority of Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha’at," will continue until tomorrow, Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Riyadh Front for Events and Conferences from 4 PM to 11 PM. The forum aims to provide a suitable environment for small and medium-sized enterprises, ensuring their continuity and growth. It also encourages new market entrants by supporting entrepreneurs and those interested in the business field, guiding them through the stages of establishing and successfully growing their projects. The forum offers consultations on how to leverage others' experiences to expand their managerial capabilities in building and succeeding in their projects.
