"Monsha'at" Launches the Future Entrepreneur Program
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" launched the Future Entrepreneur initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The initiative aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to start any business project, helping them overcome challenges that entrepreneurs may face in various sectors. The initiative targets public education students, aiming to provide cognitive skills and empower them with experiences to solve entrepreneurial challenges. The number of registered users on the website reached around 17,000 beneficiaries from all regions of the Kingdom. The Entrepreneurs' Market was activated in the city of Riyadh, with the participation of 30 projects for students who were qualified from among 83 registered projects on the website. The initiative included three main programs: the Foundational Entrepreneurial Skills program, which contains six educational story videos for each educational stage; the Entrepreneurs Market program, with markets activated in 5 Saudi cities in cooperation with commercial complexes (Riyadh, Dammam, Abha, Hail, Jeddah), each event hosting 30 projects for display and sale to visitors; and the Entrepreneurial Challenge competition, which contains entrepreneurial competitions with the aim of finding innovative solutions to a number of challenges that entrepreneurs may face in various sectors, with financial prizes and incentives for the winners. This initiative comes within the framework of Monsha'at's efforts to spread the culture of entrepreneurship, freelancing and innovation among the emerging generation and hone their talents by providing them with the basic skills needed by an entrepreneur at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. It aims to help overcome challenges they may face, support the growth of their enterprises and emerging businesses, and transform their innovations into promising commercial projects. The educational content was tailored for each educational stage separately to ensure the desired impact of the initiative effectively and sustainably.
