"Monsha’at" Holds the Khobar Forum for the National Commercial Innovation System
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" concluded the Khobar Forum for the National Commercial Innovation System at the University of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd in Al Khobar Governorate, with the aim of gathering public and private sector entities that provide services and opportunities for entrepreneurs and innovative companies in one place, and discussing the formation of partnerships and supportive services for the sector, with the participation of more than 36 specialists representing 27 universities, major companies, and government entities working to support innovative entrepreneurs. The representatives of the supporting entities discussed important topics about the roles of their entities in the national commercial innovation system, while several sessions were held on commercial innovation opportunities in the Kingdom, and the challenges facing small and medium-sized innovative enterprises in the market, and strategies for overcoming these obstacles through strategic cooperation. The forum hosted the CEO of the Global Innovation Institute, Anthony Mills, who discussed the latest successful practices around the world in stimulating the innovation environment within small and medium-sized enterprises, and ways to benefit from these successful experiences in the Saudi market. It is worth noting that the forum is one of the activities of the National Commercial Innovation System Activation Project, which is part of the National Transformation Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in order to achieve effective cooperation and integration between small and medium-sized innovative enterprises, and between service providers and opportunities supporting commercial innovation across the Kingdom.
