The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" is organizing the "Funding Week" event tomorrow, in collaboration with Saudi banks, from May 19-23 across SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar. The "Funding Week" sheds light on the most prominent financing initiatives and programs that contribute to supporting entrepreneurs and enhancing the growth and expansion of their projects. The "Funding Week" also hosts in the SMEs support councils a group of the most prominent experts concerned with the financing of the small and medium enterprises sector and entrepreneurship, including the CEO of the Social Development Bank, the Acting CEO of the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank, and the CEO of the Kafala Program for Small and Medium Enterprises Financing. These experts will discuss the main challenges facing enterprises in obtaining appropriate financing and the latest financing products in the sector. The Week's events include the participation of more than 43 government and financing entities to present their services, initiatives and financing products to small and medium enterprises owners and entrepreneurs, in addition to providing a set of exclusive offers during the week. During the Week, many in-person and virtual meetings and success stories in the field will be presented, to contribute to raising the level of knowledge among entrepreneurs through introducing financing solutions and their requirements, as well as providing consultations, guidance and workshops to enhance the sustainability of small and medium enterprises. The Funding Week will witness the signing of a set of agreements and memorandums of understanding between Monsha’at and a number of financing entities and specialized companies, with the aim of establishing financing and awareness programs for small and medium enterprises, and contributing to addressing the challenges they face to support their expansion and business growth.
