Dine-in Restaurants

An enterprise where meals are prepared and served either inside a dining area or as a takeaway item.

Human resources

Based on the size of the business, there are many professions involved in managing and operating dine-in restaurants. These professions can be identified according to the Saudi Occupation Classification Guide as follows:

Retail Sales Supervisor

Fully manages the restaurant's operational work, distributes tasks, motivates the team, handles daily problems and challenges, and ensures visitor satisfaction. The job
requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, previous experience as a supervisor, and a degree in management or leadership training is preferred

 

Kitchen Helper

Responsible for washing, cleaning, arranging, and maintaining the dishes.

Cleaning Supervisor

Supervises the cleaning team, follows up on cleaning procedures, monitors the needs of the different areas within the facility, maintains the use of various cleaning tools, oversees the cleaning of roof ventilation holes, conducts and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities, and notifies the administration of deficiencies or repair needs. 
The job requires an appropriate level of education, proficiency in handling heavy equipment, machinery, and chemicals, the ability to assess the work team and distribute tasks, as well as a good understanding of health and safety procedures.

 

Receptionist

Receives calls, coordinates reservations, greets customers, and accompanies them to their tables.
The job requires an appropriate level of education and excellent communication skills.

Cleaner

Performs necessary cleaning, polishing and disinfection of the store, cleans storage and accounting areas, shelves, corridors, toilets and rest areas, ensures the cleanliness of product packaging, and maintains hygiene tools and materials.

Marketing Manager

Develops and implements marketing plans for the enterprise to help reach goals, introduces the public to the brand, implements promotional campaigns, develops creative ideas, conducts marketing research to find solutions to consumer requirements, behaviors and trends, and provides suggestions to develop content and plan important events and occasions. The job
requires an appropriate educational level, excellent communication skills, the ability to conduct market analyses, analyze marketing campaigns and creative thinking.

 

Chef

Supervises all stages of food preparation by studying recipes, preparing menus and various dishes, and delegating tasks to the kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared in a timely manner using advanced cooking techniques and unconventional ingredients to present a menu that helps gain customer satisfaction and trust. The job
requires the right education and practical experience in the kitchen field.

 

Waiter

Takes orders from customers, serves food and beverages, makes menu recommendations, answers customer questions regarding orders, provides additional information such as menu ingredients and available drinks, and delivers a distinctive service that helps gain customer confidence and satisfaction. The job requires an appropriate level of education, excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to handle work pressure.

Kitchen Worker

Prepares food under the chef's supervision, collects kitchen utensils used in the dining areas and the kitchen, loads and unloads dishwashing appliances, and washes and organizes specific equipment individually by hand. Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen in general. The job requires physical ability, the capability to work in different shifts, and sometimes on holidays. An appropriate level of education and practical experience as a kitchen worker is an added advantage.
