"Monsha'at" Organizes Third Franchise Round for 85 Brands and 20 Enabling Entities
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at," represented by Franchise Center, concluded the third franchise round in the Qassim region in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce, the National Transformation Program, the Social Development Bank, the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank and the Saudi Business Center, in addition to the participation of 30 brands. The total achievement of the tour in its three stations reached 85 brands, while 24 workshops were provided, and 20 enabling and supportive entities participated, to enable entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises to learn about the most important basics in the field of franchising. During the Qassim tour, a dialogue session was held on the opportunities for expansion and launch of commercial franchise in the Qassim region and the economic movement, in which the Qassim Chamber Secretary General Mr. Mohammad Bin Abdulkarim Al-Hanaya, noted the economic mobility in the region in various sectors and the growth of small and medium enterprises, pointing out that the commercial franchise system opens horizons for entrepreneurs and is an important economic resource, as the commercial franchise industry has become a target for the local and global markets. He explained that the Qassim Chamber is working to support the economic sectors in the region through a package of services and programs that will contribute to the business sector in the region in advancing the economic movement. The tour featured 8 specialized workshops, along with success stories, consulting sessions, and guidance on topics such as the legal aspects of franchising, mediation, brand marketing, acquiring franchise rights, evaluating investment opportunities, and the role of supply chains in franchising. The tour also witnessed the signing of several franchise agreements, including the awarding of more than 45 franchise units to support the growth and expansion of entrepreneurs and brand owners. The tour will resume its activities in the city of Hail, which is the fourth station, from November 25–26.
